A New Beginning

After taking a much needed break so that I could edit and produce the Kensington Blues book and exhibition, I am happy to announce that I am getting back to work. I’ve decided to significantly broaden the scope of the project. I’ll be introducing a number of new segments including follow up interviews with past subjects, stories of recovery, collaborative reporting with journalists and Kensington Blues: Your Story, a page dedicated to re-thinking how we think about addiction. Congratulations Debbie, it’s so good to hear someone like you made it out of there. I just lost my girlfriend this year to drugs even though I tried my best to help her. I met her 9 years ago on Kensington ave, where I was working night shift as a security guard at a car dealership. She went through various rehabs and clinics, but she just couldn’t beat her addiction. I’m so glad to hear that you’re doing well. Keep it up.
