I love what you did. I’ve followed you for a while now, mostly because I was scared I’m active addiction that I would be in one of your pictures. Now however I look to remember where I was and how I had fallen and how hard I worked to get back up. I have over 15 months clean amd im grateful everyday but it seems like on those days were i wanna say fuck it, i get am email from this site for something new posted. So I wanna say from the bottom of my heart thank you for putting light on Kensington, and thank you for unknowingly helping my path.
Thank you. Thank you for making us human. That was me and will always be a part of me. Thank you
Hey Jeffrey,
I have been following your work for about 5 years now and found it very inspirational! I was running around Kensington a little over 4 years ago, before I got sober. I saved your Kensington Blues page as my home page years ago to remind me of my past and my progress. At times It helps me when I am going through a rough patch in my sobriety/life. It allows me to visit that reality without actually being there. Its a similar feeling you get when viewing photos of an ex-lover. The beauty of love and pain all wrapped into one. There is something so dark and poetic about that place and it will always have a piece of my heart, just like my exes. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your work and creativity.
Cheers,
Stephen Maier
